Mr. S.R. Ramakrishnan, Chairman, graduated in mechanical engineering in 1956 from the Engineering College, Anantapur He also undertook a course in Metallurgy and Business Management from the Carnegie Institute of Technology, Pittsburgh He has over 50 years of experience in the steel industry. He has previously worked with the Steel Authority of India Limited in various capacities, including as the commercial director on the board. He worked in the Bhilai Steel Plant from 1981 to 1984. He has also served as an advisor to the C.K. Birla Group. He has been on the Board since May 14, 2005 and was reappointed by the shareholders at the AGM held on June 11, 2007.

Mr. T Shivaraman, Managing Director & CEO, is a graduate in Chemical Engineering and a post graduate in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras. He started his career as a management trainee at ICI India Limited with its fertilizer plant in Kanpur and has 18 years of experience in plant operations and project engineering. He has been involved in engineering, procurement and construction business since 1992. He has experience in technical handling of projects and is overall in-charge of technology and technical collaborations with domestic and foreign partners.

Mr. M Amjad Shariff, Joint Managing Director, is a Post Graduate in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras. He has 23 years of experience in project execution, sales, marketing and corporate planning. He also has experience in design and installation of hi-tech projects for a variety of industrial applications in the areas of fertilizer, chemical, ferrous and non-ferrous metals and other industries. He has specialized in core sector, executing and management of projects, particularly in industries like steel, copper and power.

Mr. S. Srinivasan, 46 years, is a Mechanical Engineer with a MBA from IRMA, Anand. He is also a Cost & Management Accountant. He has overall business experience of about 23 years. Prior to joining Shriram Group, he was the Head of Global emerging Market for Mylan Inc., USA, one of the world’s largest Generic Pharmaceutical Companies and was also Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Matrix Laboratories Limited, Indian subsidiary of Mylan Inc. He also played a key role in the rapid growth achieved by Matrix, organically as well as through Mergers and Acquisitions. He is currently the Managing Director of Shriram Industrial Holdings Private Limited, which is the holding Company for the non financial services businesses of Shriram Group, Chennai.

Mr. Vishal Gupta, Director at BVP India in Mumbai, joined BVP India in 2006 and focuses on investments in energy, financial services, healthcare services and infrastructure.

Vishal is currently on the board of Indian Energy Exchange, India’s largest power exchange; ongrid solar developer Kiran Energy, merchant power leader Ind Barath; Spanco Power Distribution a private utility focused on power distribution franchisee; NetAmbit, one of India’s largest financial products distributor; HFFC, focused on affordable housing mortgages; MediAssist; India’s leading third party administrator. He also is involved in Bessemer’s investment in Shriram City Union Finance, Shriram EPC, Motilal Oswal and Orient Green Power.

Prior to joining BVP India, Vishal was a senior manager in the treasurer’s office at Reliance Group, Vishal helped the firm establish a private-equity fund that invested in such companies as Celebrity Fashions, Adlabs, and other firms in the healthcare and financial-services sectors. Previously, he served as an executive assistant to the CEO of a joint venture of HCL Tech and Deutsche Bank in India.

Vishal holds an M.B.A from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. He is a chartered accountant and has a B.A. in commerce from GS College, where he was ranked one of the top 750 students in the country. He is also a member of Mensa and has been a nationally-ranked table tennis player.

Mr.Sunil Kolangara, Director has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT, Chennai and an MBA from IIM, Ahmedabad.,Sunil has been with UTI Ventures since 2003. He brings with him over 17 years of experience in capital markets with extensive knowledge of corporate finance and fund management, along with a keen understanding of the technology sector. As an investment principal, Sunil is responsible for sourcing deals and also represents the funds on the boards of several portfolio companies. Formerly with Infosys Technologies, as a Principal Consultant in the financial securities domain, he has also worked with UTI Mutual Fund for close to a decade in credit rating, primary market investments and as an offshore fund manager of the India IT Fund.

Mr. R. Sundararajan, Director, graduated as a Mechanical Engineer from the Jadhavpur University, Calcutta. Further, he completed his Master of Business Administration degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He is also a Chartered Engineer and Associate of the Insurance Institute of India. He has experience of over 30 years in the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to joining our Company, he was the Executive Director -Operations and later the Executive Vice President-Strategic Business Planning of Matrix Laboratories Limited. He is currently an advisor to various companies including Shriram Financial Services Holdings Private Limited, Shriram Fortune Solutions Limited, Rambal Limited. He was appointed by the Board at the meeting held on October 22, 2005 and was reappointed by the shareholders at the AGM held on September 30, 2006.

Mr. S Krishnamurthy, Director aged about 70 years is a professional and senior Banker with extensive experience of over 4 decades with the Reserve Bank of India and Commercial Banks.

Mr. S Krishnamurthy was the Chairman and CEO of Tamilnad Mercantile Bank, Tuticorin for over 5 years and has served as General Manager (Vigilance & Inspection/Audit) with Indian Overseas Bank, Chennai for 5 years. Mr. S Krishnamurthy was Banking Ombudsman, Chennai for around two years. He is currently on the Board of Take Solutions Ltd, Chennai and M/s. Shriram City Union Finance Ltd.,
